FA Cup predictions recap

During each of our Women’s FA Cup first round match previews I wrote a brief paragraph saying who I thought would win and why – but how accurate (or how hopeless) was I? I was curious to know, so I’ve been back through my predictions to check. The winner I chose for each game is shown in bold below along with the result and whether I was right or wrong.

Overall I picked 20 winners from the 25 games played, so I’m feeling pretty pleased with myself for that! There was a real north-south divide in those results though – in the northern section I got 8 out of 13 right (62%), but in the southern section I managed to get 12 out of 12.

The draw for the second round takes place later today, with games due to be played on the 8th of January.
