SSE Women’s FA Cup preview: AFC Wimbledon v Brighton & Hove Albion

Unfortunately we’re not able to bring you a full preview of this game, but it would be remiss of us not to at least mention that this will be Brighton’s first ever competitive match as a WSL club.

Their last competitive match was all the way back in May of last year, when they beat Sporting Club Albion (now West Bromwich Albion) in the WPL Championship Play-off to secure promotion to WSL2.

My prediction: Despite the rustiness that comes from having no competitive football for eight months, Brighton have signed some excellent players and I think they will be the team to progress to the fourth round.
