The draw for the fourth round of the 2016/17 SSE Women’s FA Cup has been made today, pairing together the twelve teams that made it through the third round yesterday.
The winners will go into the fifth round along with the ten WSL1 clubs as the competition moves into its final stages.
- Durham v Everton
- Coventry United v Aston Villa
- Millwall Lionesses v Nottingham Forest
- West Bromwich Albion v Leicester City Women
- Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton & Hove Albion
- Sheffield v Doncaster Rovers Belles
West Brom facing Leicester City Women means that we are guaranteed to have at least one WPL club in the last 16, while Coventry United’s reward for their upset win over WSL2’s Oxford United is a West Midlands derby with Aston Villa. Durham and Everton, the 3rd- and 4th-placed teams in WSL2 last season, will play each other at New Ferens Park, and Doncaster Rovers Belles make a belated entry into the competition after their third round walkover with a trip to Sheffield.
The two remaining fixtures both see WSL sides take on WPL opposition. Newly-promoted Brighton & Hove Albion were drawn away to Tottenham Hotspur and Millwall Lionesses will host Nottingham Forest.
All games are due to be played in two weeks time, on Sunday 19th February.
